Closeup: Steampunk/Dieselpunk pulse blaster

A Saclordian pulse blaster, late Fourth Era, from the Lykosan System War. (Since I have yet to put any of this stuff to writing, think American Revolution, except the colonies are outposts on places similar to Mars and the Moons of Jupiter and Saturn; and, instead of the French, the colonies' allies are more like Klingons. Now picture this with werewolves in mid-form.) The owner of the thing got it from the future; he's an airship merchant from about 480 years (Earth time) earlier, and his crew have several upset emperors chasing after them.

The emblem is a two-headed Vokskrel, a creature that resembles a mildly armor-plated rabbit, with hints of grasshopper.

This began life as a standard water gun; I went to Target and found the most Steampunky-looking one I could find, and I found a Swimways "Hurricane," which shoots targets up to 40 feet away. Then I painted it with Testor's model enamel, with a little Sharpee for touch-up.
